As of 1 August 2016, our team will be significantly strengthened when the well-known and recognized lawyer Urmas Arumäe joins our office.

Urmas has been active as an attorney at law for over twenty years. He previously owned and managing two large-size law offices in the Estonian context – Concordia and Landwell. Today, he is discontinuing his activities in his one-man law office Andresson Consulting Network and joining our firm as a partner.
Many people remember Urmas Arumäe as the Estonian Minister of Justice (1994) and the mayor of the Viimsi Rural Municipality (2005-2008).
In addition to his work as a lawyer, Urmas is Associate Professor of Business Law at the Estonian Business School, where, based on student feedback, he has been chosen as the best faculty member for two years in a row. He has written two popular textbooks on business law and a successful handbook for family businesses.
The negotiations for starting this collaboration have lasted for more than a year. Vladimir Sadekov started his own law career as a lawyer with Urmas Arumäe’s Concordia law offices in 2002. Their excellent collegial relations have continued since then. Now a thankful Vladimir has invited his teacher to join the Sadekov Law Firm, in order to help the office become more universal and competitive, by focusing on a significantly wider clientele and represent them in the solutions of problems related to criminal, civil and administrative law.
In answer to our invitation, Urmas has said the following: “working in a one-man office has its advantages and disadvantages. Among other things, when working alone it is increasingly difficult to cope with the increased bureaucracy. Therefore, it was quite natural that I wanted to either expand my one-man office or discontinue its activities and join another firm. The Sadekov Law Firm was one of the first to acquire a quality management certificate from the Estonian Bar Association, which confirms that the office maintains the necessary high and sustainable standards of service and that the important (management) processes including the bureaucratic ones, are well-organised and implemented. This suits me well and will allow me to focus on resolving the clients’ legal problems.”
With his broad knowledge and long experience, Urmas will support and help develop the civil law services, especially those related to business, at the Sadekov Law Firm.
