Vladimir Sadekov is the founder and managing partner of Sadekov Law Office. He started his legal career in 1998 as an attorney. Mr Sadekov became well-known in 2000 when he participated in the resonance process with Simon Levin and Andres Gorkin as the defence attorney of Giovanni Sposato.
Working in large multinational companies and in various offices, he gained invaluable experience of participating in the settlement of business disputes. Since 2005, he has focused his work mainly on criminal law and proceedings and on comprehensive customer service. He became more widely known in connection with the successful defence of the so-called bronze process. Vladimir Sadekov has participated in the defence of clients in Estonia, Germany, France and Finland.

He has worked at Sadekov Law Office since March 2015. Prior to that, he was a lawyer at the Tax and Customs Board and dealt with collection of tax arrears. In 2009, he was awarded the State Prize as the best collector of the year.
He resolves issues related to enforcement and bankruptcy proceedings, tax and administrative law, tax, judicial and administrative proceedings, commercial, civil, including matters of property law, law of obligations, labour and family law. The procedural documents of Alexey Vassiljev were repeatedly examined in the Supreme Court. On the basis of these, judgments of fundamental importance for the development of law were issued, which have become a precedent with regards to lower-ranking courts.
In 2007, Alexei Vassiljev defended his Master’s thesis on “Liability of a Member of the Company’s Management Body Towards the Company’s Creditors”. At this stage of his career, he gives priority to the field of business law and issues concerning the liability of the company’s management body towards creditors, in which event the special case is the liability of a member of the management board towards the state in the form of the Tax and Customs Board.
